This month I am taking part at a 30-day video challenge started by Michelle White Hart called ‘Vamp up your Visibility’. She and I met at our first video challenge last May. Now that I started posting blogs I thought it is a good idea to join her challenge. As expected it is fun and I am learning a few new pointers about videos. What is a surprise to me, is that I am getting to understand myself better through the lovely comments of my piers and by observing myself. When under pressure to get a clip out I have been the most creative and authentic. So not wanting to film me again I found great subjects on our family outing and created the deer medicine video. It is my first attempt of a story-telling video, as are the two landscape videos of the area around my home that followed. In all three videos I learned to add text directly in YouTube. This speeds up the editing process, which I welcomed as I was not feeling well.
